How much does camper registration cost?

The cost of Kids Camp is $130 which includes all activities, meals, and a bed in the
dormitory. -
Day Campers registration is $90 which includes all activities and meals.

If there are 3 students attending Kids Camp from the same family the cost will be
reduced to $90 per student. -
Registration is transferable but NOT refundable past July 8, 2024

There will be no Walk-up/At the Door Registration.
What is the age limit for campers?

The minimum age is 7 years old. The maximum age is 12 years old.
Can my 6 year old child go to camp?

No, all campers must be at least 7 years old.

However, children ages 6 and under may attend evening services with a parent or legal
guardian free of charge.
Are there any discounts available for camper registration?

Yes! If there multiple children from the same family attending camp, the cost of registration is $90 per student.
How long will camp last?

Camp will last from July 10-12, 2024.
If I register online, do I still need to fill out the PDF application?

Yes. In addition to registering online, the appropriate forms will need to be printed, filled out, and brought with you to check-in.

Note: For camper registrations, the child's parent or legal guardian must sign all necessary forms.
Do I need to complete a background check?

All staff members ages 18 years or older must complete a background check. If you are under 18 years old, you do not need to fill out the forms.
When does check-in begin?

Check-in will begin at 9:00 A.M. on Wednesday.
What if I have already completed a background check for another event in previous years?

If you have completed a background check for any Virginia District event over the past 3 years, then you do not need to complete another one.
How much does the background check cost?

A single background check costs $12.
When should I pick up my child(ren)?

Kids Camp ends on Friday Evening. Parents/Legal Guardians are required to pick up campers by 10:00 A.M. Saturday.
What should my child bring to camp?

Bible
-
Linens for a single bed (i.e. blanket/sleeping bag, pillow, etc.)

Toiletries (i.e. towels, wash cloths, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, brush, etc.)

Clothes (i.e. undergarments, pajamas, robes, swimwear, athletic clothes, sneakers, shower shoes, business casual clothing, a sweater/jacket, etc.)

Money for offering and spending money for concessions
Can my child bring his/her electronic games?

Please do not bring any electronics, including an iPad, Nabi, MP3, any type of radio, video games, televisions, computers, or cell phones.

Dorm leaders will have cell phones to contact parents in case of emergencies.

Please note that anything your child brings, which we perceive as inappropriate for camp, will be held by the dorm staff until the end of camp.
Is my child allowed to bring medications if it is over-the-counter?

All medications (even over-the-counter meds) MUST be turned in to the Camp Nurse during registration.

Your child will visit the Infirmary to get their medications.

What is the dress code?

Boys: No shorts allowed. Wind pants, slacks, and jeans are appropriate.

Girls: Dresses or skirts that cover the knee (Athletic or play wear must have tights or shorts underneath).

Swimwear is only appropriate in the pool area and during the designated, separated swim time for boys and girls.

Robes and/or other coverings are required when walking to and from the pool and water slide.

No ornamental jewelry (i.e. necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, etc.)
Does my child need money for concessions?

Yes. Although we serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, and an evening snack. The concession stand will be open during the day for your child to purchase additional drinks and snacks throughout the day.
