Our Leadership

Originally from New Orleans, LA, Bro. Adam Evans served 12 years in the United States Coast Guard. In 2001, he was stationed in Virginia and quickly fell in love with both the state and his home church in Chesapeake, VA, Bible World Apostolic Church. Not long after, he met Mary, his wife of thirteen years. God has blessed them with two beautiful miracle babies, Brayden (9) and Reagan (5). Bro. Evans has worked in ministry for over 12 years with various departments, including youth, couples, children, and singles under his father in the ministry, Pastor Jack Cunningham.

Originally from a small town in southeast Georgia, Bro. Natonia Clay served in the United States Marine Corps for 12 years. During that time the Lord brought him to an apostolic altar. Since that time he has been working in Children's Ministry for approximately 19 years and he is currently serving as the  department head for the children's church and preteen class at Norfolk Apostolic Church under Pastor Michael Blankenship. He is honored to serve the children of the Virginia District as the Virginia Sunday School Secretary.

Born in Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies, Sis. Heather Hines and her family love calling Virginia "home." Sister Hines has served as the head of the Kalvary Kids Ministry for the past seven years at Norfolk Apostolic Church. She has also served as the Virginia District Section One Singles Leader for the past three years. Her vision is to see God move in a mighty way, with revival and unity, among our singles.

Originally from Buffalo, NY, Bro. Tim Smith joined the Navy following high school. In 1990, he moved with his family to Virginia and finished his final tour after ten years of service. He and his family chose to stay in Norfolk, VA because they loved their home church, Norfolk Apostolic Church (NAC). Passionate about the Word of God, Bro. Tim quickly got involved with the Junior Bible Quizzing team. During his 15 year coaching tenure, he qualified 6 teams for the North American Bible Quizzing Tournament. As the Junior Bible Quiz Coordinator for the VA District, Bro. Smith’s vision is to exponentially grow the entire Junior Bible Quiz Program and to cultivate a culture in which Junior Quizzing can thrive.
